Hi, I'm Peter Chapman.

<--- This is me.

I honestly hate writing about myself, but I'll give it a shot.

I'm a full-stack engineer based out of Queens, NY, who has a passion for human-computer interactions. This has led me to be a lot more front-end focused than the usual full-stack engineer. Over the years, I have become a bit of a polyglot, programming production code in Java, C++, and Python, but I would say TypeScript and React are where I am most comfortable.That being said, I'm always open, and maybe even excited, to diving in and learning new languages, frameworks, and libraries.

Right now, from a technological point of view, what excites me most is building apps around AI as well as exploring the world of spatial computing. From a non-technological standpoint, I have a deep passion for mentorship and thoroughly enjoy collaborating with talented individuals.

And now for a few fun facts.....

• Since 2019, I've been following an entirely plant-based diet after reading articles about the environmental impact of eating meat. And no, I don't miss cheese or meat.
• My dad has been ran a weekly board game group for nearly 20 years. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve sitting around the table playing board games. Currently, my favorites include Wingspan, Root, and 7 Wonders Duel.
• I still use an iPod as my daily driver to this day and have even delved into both hardware and software modifications for them.
• BelowTo the right are pictures of my cat, Cinnamon, and my dog, Kashi. I never grew up with pets, and I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would become a proud pet dad. I love those little derps.
